Stay Strong Fitness Challenge

The Stay Strong Challenge is designed to help you to continue to reach or maintain your health and fitness goals. This challenge is a point based system and prizes will be based on total points earned. Whether you are looking to begin improving or continue improving your health throughout the summer, this challenge is for you!

Registration: April 5-May 2
Event: May 7-August 31 (17 weeks)
Fee: $200 Y-member (or 4 payments of $50); $400 Non-member (or 4 payments of $100)

Stay Strong will be completed in 2 phases. The initial 6 weeks include:

May 7-June 15

  • Team workouts twice per week
  • Food logs
  • Points for facility check-ins (limit of 10 per week)
  • Weigh in every two weeks: points awarded if you are within (or can be below) 2% of initial weigh in weight on May 7
  • Field Day (various team events on June 15)

The final 11 weeks include:

June 16-August 31

  • Weigh in every two weeks: points awarded if you are within (or can be below) 2% of initial weigh in weight on May 7
  • Food logs
  • Points for facility check-ins (limit of 10 per week)
  • Group Exercise Passport completion (10 classes—2 points per class, and 20 bonus points if you complete all)
  • Bi-monthly newsletter with workouts, nutrition tips, recipes, etc.
  • Recreational game night once per month (June, July and August)
  • T-shirts for participation
  • Trail Run at the end of the challenge
