FREE for Y-Members! Your YMCA membership includes more than 50 FREE fitness classes offered at all three YMCA locations and at various times throughout the day.

Y-Member Reservations: $10/month/class
If you would like to ensure a spot in your favorite class(es), you can do so with a reservation.
Reservations are optional and must be completed by the 5th of the month. Half the capacity of the room is available for reservations.

Non-Member/month: $25/Express* class; $40/class
(Express class is approximately 30 minutes.)

Classes are held on monthly sessions.


SATURDAYS IN SEPTEMBER: we’re taking our workout outside during Saturday’s in September.” Join us from 9-10 a.m. at Ellis Porter/Riverside Park for a Boot Camp style class.

This 45-minute class uses the ballet barre for stretching and conditioning.

BODYPUMP[Non-Members Click Here to Register]
The original LES MILLS barbell class, will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast! Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements, you’ll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning. BODYPUMP is one of the world’s fastest ways to get in shape as it challenges all of your major muscle groups while you squat, press, lift and curl. *Express classes available.

Join us for a high intensity burn focused on the abs and glutes. This class will be taught by a variety of Personal Trainers. No class will ever be the same!

CARDIO MIX[Non-Members Click Here to Register]
Step classes remain one of the top calorie burning workouts. This 60 minute, high energy class will use a variety of equipment including weights and stability balls to increase muscle tone and receive full body benefits!

CORE and MORE – [Non-Members Click Here to Register]
Core muscles are everything on the front, side and back of your torso, not including your extremities (arms, legs and head). Core strength comes especially fromyour ab muscles and your erector spinae muscles, which are responsible for helping you stand erect. A variety of exercises and tools will be used to strengthen your core.

Put a little punch in your day! This class keeps you coming back . . . using a variety of equipment including versa bars, ropes and weights, combined with traditional boxing elements. Never the same workout twice. Gloves are not required, but are available for purchase at the front desk if desired.

Like Zumba and a little hip in your hop? Instructor Leslie brings her experience of dancing as a professional cheerleader for the arena football league and ten years of teaching dance to the Saturday Dance Mix class. You’re going to have happy feet . . . we promise!

FULL BODY BLAST[Non-Members Click Here to Register]
Using a variety of equipment, this class will b convenient and challenging for those who need a full body workout, but time is an obstacle. Join us over the lunch hour.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS – [Non-Members Click Here to Register]
Feel, move and look better while increasing your ability to perform everyday functions. Whether that’s playing with your children/grandchildren, hitting home runs in a softball league, riding your bike or whatever other tasks you want to perform. Function varies from joint to joint. Some areas of the body need to be trained for stability while others need to be trained for mobility. Our training will focus on exercises designed to improve stability and mobility where they are needed while improving overall strength, endurance, and range of motion.

OPERATION FIT KIDS [Non-Members Click Here to Register]
For ages 6-12, this class will be fun but challenging, using games and activities, to get and keep kids interested in exercise and being active.

A class where participants do simple step choreography and strength training. The class is focused on enhancing your cardio and muscular endurance. Join this high energy class!

TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING – [Non-Members Click Here to Register]
The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. Suspension Training Benefits: fast and effective total-body workout, improve mobility and flexibility, build lean muscle, develop functional strength.

Burn fat with some Latin flavor and international zest – ditch the workout and join the party! A dynamic, fun and effective fitness format that provides a total body workout.

MISSOURI STATE AEROBICS [Non-Members Click Here to Register]
All State Employees have the opportunity to take up to five group exercise classes FREE at the Truman Building. Class sizes are limited, so sign up early. State Employment ID is required.
