About Summer Camp

2008 SUMMER CAMP - May 27-August 15

It’s a summer invasion at the YMCA...Vacation Invasion that is! Grab your friends and celebrate the best vacation ever at the YMCA Summer Camp Vacation Invasion 2008!
Fun activities you and your friends will experience this summer include:
• SPARK - physical education program
• Arts and crafts, science, games, weekly themes
• Field trips, camp assemblies & awards, special guests & events, climbing wall and swimming
• Lunch and afternoon snack provided.
• Age specialized camps: K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th.
• Super cool counselors
• And much, much more!

Counselor In Training program for teens entering 7th-9th grades. Separate application, fees and references required. Call Isaac Williams at 761-9192 for details. Click here to download the CIT application.

Registration
Registration begins April 28. Registration forms available for download at www.jcymca.org. Register at either front desk or in the Knowles Childcare Department.

Register early between April 28-May 3 and the $30 registration fee will be WAIVED.
Fees:
Summer Camp:
•$84/week Y-member; plus $30 registration fee
•$98/week Non-member; plus $30 registration fee


Summer Camp Notes
• Camp assignment determined by grade your child is entering in Fall 2008 school year. Camp locations available at registration.
• Easy payment plan option to meet your needs. Payment plan sign-up at Childcare office only.
• Register for the weeks you need
• Camp T-Shirt included in fees; T-Shirt received first day your child attends camp. Extra camp t-shirts available for $6.00/t-shirt. Please provide your child’s size when registering.

Camp Hours & Fees

Camp Hours are from 6:45 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Camp Fees are as follows:
$84 / week for Y-Member
$98 / week for Non-Member

Counselor In Training:
$200/summer

A $30 registration fee is required for all children participating in Summer Camp 2008 Camp fees are due by MONDAY drop-off each week of camp. Payment plans are available. Please ask about them at registration. Outreach is available to qualifying families.

Counselor In Training Program (CIT)

Are you in 7th-9th grade and looking for a way to have lots of fun this summer while learning valuable leadership skills? Then join our CIT Program! Applications accepted starting April 18th. Interview and references required prior to acceptance. Please call Isaac Williams at (573) 761-9192 for further information. Participation fee is $200 for the entire summer.
