are releasing 1 ½ hours early. Y-Care is not offered
when schools are released early due to inclement weather.

EARLY DISMISSAL/SCHOOL CANCELLATION FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER: Y-Care will be closed on days when school is cancelled or dismissed early due to inclement weather. You will need to provide alternate care.
Y-Care is a before and after school program for grades K-5. Y-Care offers a wide variety of fun, educational activities which are guaranteed to keep your school-age child entertained and learning! Y-Care is a state-licensed child care program that maintains a 16-1 child-staff ratio. Children will choose from a variety of activities including SPARK Physical Education, KIDZLIT, Club Boxes, and more! Afternoon snack is provided. Y-Care AM session begins at 6:45. Y-Care PM session ends at 5:30.

AFTERSCHOOL Y-CARE AT THE Y!
NEW PROGRAM! Y-Care will offer transportation to KNOWLES YMCA for Afterschool Y-Care for the following schools: Pioneer Trails, South Elementary, and East Elementary.
Experience the quality of Y-Care with the benefits of the YMCA facility. Activities include: weekly swimming, Kidzlit Reading Program, SPARK Physical Education, CLUB boxes, homework stations, computer lab and more.
Hours are Monday-Friday from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. Snack is served daily. We are licensed by the State of Missouri. All staff must pass a Child Abuse & Neglect screening, as well as meet educational & health standards set by DHSS.
Parents: Want to work out after 5:30? Additional care is available at our Kids Center for members until 8:00PM Monday-Thursday.
YMCA reserves the right to extend this program to other schools with waiting lists for Y-Care.
Registration Form, Bankdraft Form and CACFP Form must be completed and payment made for registration to be accepted.
Blair Oaks registrations must be turned in at the Childcare Office.

A non-refundable $30 registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. Registration fees are waived for children enrolled in Y-Care during the 2008-2009 school year. These rates apply to the Jefferson City Public Schools and Eugene Elementary.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents must give the school permission to release their children to Y-Care. The YMCA is not authorized to take a child from school into Y-Care without prior parental permission. Parents are responsible for providing the YMCA with a current copy of their child's immunization record.
