Program Policies

Tuition Policy
Jefferson City Gymnastics operates on 12 week sessions. Full tuition is due at registration. Monthly payments may be made using a Paypal account arranged prior to start date. YMCA member discounts are no longer offered.

Refund Policy
If for any reason your child needs to withdraw from his/her class, you may receive a refund. If you notify Jefferson City Gymnastics in writing of your intent to withdraw, we will refund a pro-rated amount for each remaining class after receipt of the written notification, less a $12 administration fee.

Class Attire
Boys should wear a t-shirt and gym shorts. Girls should wear a leotard. T-shirts should be tucked-in at all times. Jewelry should not be worn and hair should be secured. No candy or gum.

Class Cancellation
Jefferson City Gymnastics reserves the right to cancel or combine classes if minimum enrollment is not met.

Inclement Weather
Jefferson City Gymnastics will follow the YMCA inclement weather policy. If public schools are cancelled all day, morning classes at JCG will not meet. All other class cancellations will be made at 3:00 p.m. Listen to local TV and radio stations for updates, check the YMCA update at www.jcymca.org or call the YMCA Information line at (573) 681-9622.

Make-up Policy
Missed classes can be made up by attending another class at a similar skill level, if arrangements are made in advance.

Class Advancement
Instructors will inform parents of class advancement. Your child may advance to the next level when skill sets have been mastered at the previous level.

Intro to gymnastics for girls and boys. Learn body awareness, balance, and basics. Parent and child participate together. Class meets for 45 minutes each week.

Teddy Bears - (Ages 3-5) - (Ratio 5:1) - [Click Here to Register]
Intro to gymnastics for girls and boys. Develop independence while working on basic skills. Child participates without parent. Class meets for 45 minutes each week.

Monday - 12:15 p.m., 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday - 5:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday - 5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m.
Thursday - 5:15 p.m., 6:00 p.m.
Friday - 12:15 p.m.

Improve strength, flexibility and self-confidence, while perfecting introductory skills. Class meets for 1 hour each week.

Wednesday - 5:15 p.m., 7:00 p.m.
Thursday - 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m.

Beginning gymnastics for girls who have shown an interest in all four events: floor, bars, beam and vault. Class meets for 1 hour each week.

Monday 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m.
Tuesday - 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday AM - 11:00 a.m.


Level 1 Boys - (Ages 6-9) - (Ratio 6:1) - [Click Here to Register]
Designed for boys who are interested in gaining strength and coordination from gymnastics with exposure to all six men’s events: floor, high bar, rings, parallel bars, vault and pommel horse. Class meets for 1 hour each week.

Wednesday - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday - 5:30 p.m.
Friday - 11:30 a.m. (Home School Class - 45 min.)


Level 2 Girls - (Ages 6-12) - (Ratio 6:1) - [Click Here to Register]
Beginning to intermediate gymnastics for girls who have progressed through the level one skill sets on all four events. Class meets for 1 hour each week.

Monday - 5:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m.
Tuesday - 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday - 6:15 p.m.
Saturday AM - 10:00 a.m.


Hot Shot Girls - (Ages 8-12) - (Ratio 8:1) - [Click Here to Register]
For girls who have shown the desire and ability for gymnastics twice a week and excel in all four events. Class meets for 1.5 hours twice each week.

Monday & Wednesday - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday - 6:00 p.m.


Hot Shot Boys - (Ages 8-12) - (Ratio 8:1) - [Click Here to Register]
For boys who have progressed through the basic skills of the men’s events and are ready to prepare for competitive gymnastics. Class meets for 1.5 hours twice each week.

Monday & Wednesday - 6:00 p.m.


Heart of Missouri Team - [Click Here to Register]
Gymnasts with a desire to compete in "Heart of Missouri" competitions. Coach's recommendation required. Team works out 6-9 hours each week.

Girls Workout — Monday & Thursday - 5:30 p.m.
Girls Gold Workout — Monday, Tuesday & Thursday - 5:30 p.m.
Boys Workout — Monday & Wednesday - 5:30 p.m.

Gymnasts who desire to compete in USAG competitions, have completed a successful season at the previous level and have begun to master the skills for the next level. Coach's recommendation required. Must commit to workout 9-12 hours each week.

Girls Workout — 3x per week
Girls Gold Workout — 4x per week
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday — 5:30 p.m.

Boys Workout — Monday & Wednesday - 5:30 p.m.

Beginning Tumbling - (Ages 6-10) - (Ratio 6:1) - [Click Here to Register]
For young children who want to learn basic tumbling skills. Class meets for 1 hour each week.

Tuesday - 5:30 p.m.
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.


Intermediate Tumbling - (Ages 8 & up) - (Ratio 8:1) - [Click Here to Register]
Students will work on perfecting beginning tumbling skills, will be introduced to back handsprings, and begin linking skills into tumbling passes. Class meets for 1 hour each week.

Tuesday - 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday - 7:00 p.m.


Advanced Tumbling - (Ages 10 & up) - (Ratio 10:1) - [Click Here to Register]
This class is designed for the cheerleader, former gymnast or highly skilled tumbler wishing to maintain or enhance current ability in a fast paced environment. Class meets for 1 hour each week.

Wednesday - 7:30 p.m.


Tumble Days - [Click Here to Register]
Bringyour little ones to the gym for an hour of open playtime, while you supervise. No need to make a reservation. Drop-ins only.
