The Jefferson City Area YMCA has upgraded the Hartsfield Y to become a 24-hour facility! Now you can work out on your own schedule! With these changes, there are a few different rules and policies. Below you can find more information about what to expect.
Zero Tolerance Policy
With the addition of 24/7 access, the Jefferson City Area Y will adopt a Zero Tolerance Policy. If a member violates the 24/7 Access agreement and/or any of the policies of the YMCA, the YMCA reserves the right to terminate the member’s 24/7 Access privileges, cancel their membership or prosecute for criminal activity. During the period of any such termination, the member shall not be entitled to a credit for any repayment of dues or other fees due or paid pursuant to this Membership Agreement. These policies are in place for everyone’s safety and enjoyment of the Jefferson City Area YMCA’s Hartsfield facility at all hours of the day.
Safety and Security
The YMCA building and grounds are under 24-hour surveillance and all activities are recorded. For your safety, please use caution when entering or leaving the YMCA. A phone is available at the Welcome Desk if you feel threatened or witness suspicious activity. DO NOT allow access to anyone who knocks on the door. Doing so may put you at risk for injury or harm and will result in loss of YMCA Membership privileges
Usage
As a member with the 24/7 Access, you may use the Hartsfield Y at any time. If you are in the building at closing, you will be required to exit the building in order for the door to be locked, then re-enter using your fob. When YMCA staff leave at closing, there will be no YMCA staff on hand to monitor the Hartsfield Y.
Age Requirements
24/7 Access will only be granted to those 18 years of age and older.
Available Areas
After YMCA staff exit the building, access to the lower level of the Hartsfield YMCA will be off limits. This includes the lower level hallways as well as the men’s and women’s locker rooms. Men’s and women’s restrooms upstairs will be available for use, as well as the Group Exercise Room, Multipurpose Room and Fitness Center.
Key Fobs
Key fobs will be assigned to individuals who have signed up for 24/7 Access. These will be required for entry to the YMCA after normal operating hours. Member must scan their 24/7 Access fob to enter the front entrance of the building. Member must pull door closed and may not hold the door open for other persons. Your fob checks you into the building. There is no need to scan your membership card.
24/7 Access Fees
To be eligible for 24/7 Access, individuals must have a Jefferson City Area YMCA membership. The Y reserves the right to not allow access to individuals who have had prior suspensions or infractions at the YMCA. Fees will be processed at the beginning of each month. There is no fee for YMCA Members who are First Responders (Law Enforcement (City Police, Sheriff and State Police), Fire (JC Fire Department) and EMT/Paramedics).

Monthly Fee:
Individual – $7
Couple (must be on same membership) – $10
Three adults (must all be on same membership) – $17
Replacement Fob – $10
