Proceeds benefit LiveSTRONG at the YMCA, a physical activity and well-being initiative for adult cancer survivors. Survivors and their household receive four-month YMCA family membership.
Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals of building muscle mass and strength, increasing flexibility and endurance and improving confidence and self-esteem. Survivors meet in a group setting twice a week for 12 weeks to begin building a healthy lifestyle and to support one another.
COURSE – This is a flat course that will begin at JCMG Orthopaedic Center at 1225 W. Stadium. The course will will loop around the JCMG parking lot, then onto the Greenway Trail turning around before Southwest Blvd. When arriving back at JCMG, the race will finish at the same spot as it started.

Early Packet Pick Up: Friday, Sept. 18 from 4-6 p.m. at the Firley Y at 525 Ellis Blvd.
