- Due to the unpredictability of each weather situation, the YMCA reserves the right to alter this procedure on a case by case basis and decisions will be made in as timely of a manner as possible. - Program directors will be consulted for input on the cancellation of programs. The final decision on program cancellations will be made by the Risk Management Director, Property Director and CEO.
- If the Jefferson City Public Schools are cancelled due to hazardous road conditions, before school Y-Club and after school Y-Care will not be offered and the YMCA Child Development Center will open at 8 a.m.
- If the Jefferson City Public Schools announce a late start due to hazardous road conditions, before school Y-Club will not be offered and the YMCA Child Development Center will open at 8 a.m.
- If the Jefferson City Public Schools announce an early release due to hazardous road conditions, after school Y-Care will not be offered.
