Jefferson City Parks and Recreation and Jefferson City YMCA have teamed up to offer Special Olympics Swimming! Special Athletes ages 8 and up can participate. Registration begins in January at Jefferson City Parks and Recreation. Practices will be held at Knowles YMCA. Practice schedule is TBA. We are ADA accessible with a lift chair to help athletes access the pool. There is also an elevator and family changing areas at Knowles YMCA. All athletes must be enrolled prior to participating.
