Summer Camp

2026 SUMMER CAMP will be held May 26- August 14. This year’s theme is Adventure Around the World!

Registration opens Monday, February 23! Save $30 when you register online or at the Knowles Y from February 23-March 1. Registrations received after March 1 must pay the $30 registration fee per child.

The YMCA provides summer camp for kids from kindergarten (must be age 5) through sixth grade, held Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. Fun activities that your child will experience include field trips, camp assemblies, special guests and events, swimming, arts and crafts, weekly themes, science, games, super cool counselors, and much more!

REGISTER ONLINE

  • Total weekly fees:  $130/member; $150/non-member
  • A non-discountable, non-refundable $20 per-week deposit is due at registration. We deduct this from the total weekly fee.
  • $30 program registration fee per child per summer (waived during early registration).
  • Remaining weekly fees are drafted each Sunday before the week your child is attending camp.
  • The system automatically applies outreach discounts during online registration.  
  • Camp t-shirts are guaranteed with registrations completed by March 22nd. Registrations received after March 22nd will not receive a shirt.
  • Families receiving state assistance must come into the Knowles Facility to register for summer programs

    • Requests to add weeks are honored based on availability. Drops should be completed at the Knowles desk or emailed to bwatkins@jcymca.org. All requests to add or drop must be completed by noon on the Thursday before the date of service to avoid being charged for the week dropped. Refunds are not issued for untimely cancellations.

SUMMER SCHOOL Y-care @ The YMCA

JCSD will bus students from summer school to the Knowles Y Monday through Thursday. Children will be escorted to the camp corresponding to the grade they will enter in the Fall. Afternoon snack provided.  REGISTER online or at the Knowles Y beginning Feb 23. Does not include full-day camp when summer school is not in session in June.

  • Fees are $165/Y-member, $195/Non-member for the session.
