Classes run monthly with about 8 classes each month and are 45 minutes long.

AQUA FUSION/AQUA ZUMBA COMBO – [Register] Two formats–two fabulous instructors! This is a shallow water class instructed by Lori Melvin and Dulce Stevens who will alternate classes. Lori is an RN with lots of fitness knowledge. Dulce is a certified ZUMBA instructor with years of experience and lots of enthusiasm! Classes will offer a great workout and feature fun music!
AQUATIC RELIEF/VETERAN’S AQUATIC THERAPY – [Register] Join this lively morning class to increase your strength, endurance, and flexibility. Enjoy the water’s buoyancy and resistance throughout this easy-impact aerobic workout. Held at Knowles YMCA in the shallow end.
CARDIO H2O – [Register] This class is a combination of deep-water exercises wearing a buoyancy belt (available at the Y to use) in the deep end, and resistance work in the shallow end. This is a total body workout! A great way to start your day!
DEEP WATER – [Register] Experience this invigorating class to increase your sense of well-being through muscle toning, calorie burning cardio, and friendly camaraderie. While suspended in the deep water with your buoyancy belt, you perform virtually any activity in the water that you do on land (and more!)
SWIMNASTICS – [Register] With all the fun, fitness, friendship and fellowship, you will feel SWIMTASTIC after each class! Fun water exercise with -moderate intensity. Lots of muscle toning with an assortment of water equipment. The class enjoys music with a new playlist each month.
WATER WORKS – [Register] A class for any fitness level. Enjoy aerobic exercise with little joint impact. Improves the cardiovascular system while strengthening the muscles. Great fun in the water!
MID-DAY AQUA MOTION – [Register] A deep water/shallow water combo class that will break up your day and help you feel great! Taught by two experienced teachers who know how to lead a fantastic workout–Dorothy and Taylor. Buoyancy belts will be available for those who want them. Held at Knowles YMCA.
SUMMER AQUA HIIT – [Register] You’ll be guided through a high intensity, low-impact, strength session in the deep-water at the Firley YMCA outdoor pool at 525 Ellis Blvd.
