The YMCA’s Red, White and Blue 5K Color Run will cater to all – walkers, runners, kids, strollers and dogs on leashes! By participating, you will be supporting the Taking Charge of My Life & Health program which is a partnership between the Y and the Truman VA Hospital.
With color stations set up along the course, individuals can stop in and get “colored up” as they make their way along the concreted path of the Jefferson City Greenway with no fear of steep hills or traffic. The event will be runner friendly as well, using the YMCA’s timing system to determine a race winner and keeping the “coloring” separate from the course so you can focus on your run. This event starts and ends at Last Flight Brewery, come and hangout before and after the race and even catch the Chiefs game!
